Break Time

As we've mentioned previously, work-life balance is key, particularly in the accounting industry. It's a bit easier said than done during tax season, which are the four busiest months of the calendar year. That said, there are always a few minutes each day one can take to decompress before getting back to the grind. This week, we bring you a few accounting jokes to give you a mini-break, too:Q: How many accountants does it take to change a light bulb?A: Two; one to do the work and one to make sure it was done within budget.Q: What do you call an accountant without a spreadsheet?A: Lost.Q: Where do homeless accountants live?A: In tax shelters. An accountant is having a hard time sleeping and goes to see her doctor. "Doctor, I just can't get to sleep at night," she says."Have you tried counting sheep?" asks the doctor."That's the problem -- I make a mistake and then spend six hours trying to find it."
